On the 22nd of April, GIPLC donated a dozen complete medical protective gear, sanitization materials and medical gloves to the Abuja covid-19 Isolation Center at the Gwagwalada Specialist Hospital. To officially receive the items was the Medical Director of the Gwagwalada Specialist Hospital, Prof. Bissallah Ahmed Ekele, accompanied by some of his senior staffs.

On the 6th of May, 2020, GIPLC, in partnership with another NGO, SAM Empowerment Foundation, paid a charity visit to the Gwagwalada Fulani settlement, Abuja. 200 facemasks and food items for about 100 families were distributed.

On Sunday, 10th May 2020, GIPLC project ONENigerianONEMask continued its campaign by supporting over 400 vulnerable women and children with palliatives (food packages for about 100 families) and face masks at Kpaduma village,  Asokoro extension, Abuja.

The turnout was heart wrenching with so many people in need. We did our best to maintain social distancing in spite of the overwhelming crowd. In total, about 600 masks have been distributed in the last one week.
