CRISIS & CONFLICT MANAGEMENT
For over ten years now, Nigeria has experienced the worst peace time crisis in the country’s history. As part of its efforts to bring solace to victims, GIPLC set up a crisis response team. These brave staff and volunteers have visited conflict and crisis zones
FOOD FOR ONE MILLION
In over a decade of existence, this activity which occurs on the last Saturday of every month, at the Peace Park Area 8, Garki, Abuja, has collected and distributed tens of thousands of tons of food items, toiletries, toys, clothes etc. to over 23 orphanages / communities, registered with us.
SAVE A CHILD
Through our collective responsibility initiative, tapping on our broad network of stakeholders and their contacts, this health focused program has raised well over Five Million Dollars ($5,000,000.00) for children with critical medical conditions.
CHILD EDUCATION SUPPORT
In an earnest effort to meet the millennium development goals (MDG) on education for all (EFA) and attaining the governments universal basic educate(LJBE), we have established 13 early childcare and primary school libraries, across the communities where we work.
WATER & ENVIRONMENTAL SANITATION
We have conducted environmental sanitation exercises, in conjunction with the host communities and identified orphanages, to raise awareness and sensitize the public on the need to preserve our planet.
SPORTS & RECREATION
To raise awareness on the need to promote inclusion for these children who often fall through the gaps of child development, soccer tournaments between orphanages and stakeholders/supporters (corporate tournaments) are organized and publicized for active participation.
WOMEN EMPOWERMENT
GIPLC is currently designing a project (The WE Project) intended to identify the vulnerable women of our world, especially the widows, the elderly and very poor, and log them unto a monthly GIPLC support program.
SOUTH SUDAN: Women Empowerment
On a continental scale, we have visited the world’s youngest country, the Republic of South Sudan, during the peak of their ongoing internal conflict. We visited the IDP camps and distributed some materials in collaboration with Concern for Women & Children the 1st Ladies pet project.

I have participated in a GIPLC end of year party for vulnerable children, and so proud of the genuine love & care these unfortunate Nigerian children receive through GIPLC. Also, being a part of the ‘Ali-Must-Walk’ campaign that raised funds for the surgical treatment of little Ali Ahmadu Chibok that was badly injured in a boko haram terror attack was a very fulfilling engagement.
GIPLC’s efforts to support Ali Ahmadu Chibok for surgery after he was attacked by boko haram terrorists in Borno state really stirred me to alert the entire country on the menace of the Boko haram terror organization. Donating towards Ali’s treatment on behalf of the Nigerian senate was indeed a cherished assignment I took seriously, and very proud of.
To have supported the conjoined twins through GIPLC’s child care support project is an honor I shall always cherish.
I have personally supported GIPLC Food collection project, and truly proud of the excellent humanitarian work they have been engaged in for over a decade now.
I am deeply humbled to be the lifetime grand patron of GIPLC. The charity projects we have partnered on over the years have been very fulfilling, and I sincerely wish the NGO the very best in all their future endeavors, and commend Nuhu Kwajafa, the founder and National Coordinator, together with his capable team for their commitment to saving lives across the world, and Nigeria in particular.
I was privileged to perform the brain surgery on Okikijesu from Nigeria, the first child ever born-on earth without a skull, thanks to GIPLC’s remarkable humanitarian work
GIPLC’s food collection program has provided relief to many disadvantaged Nigerian homes, and I am always glad to support them on the project. I was humbled to meet Okikijesu, the first child ever born without a skull, and being a part of the efforts to support her surgery in the United States was indeed an honor I shall never forget.

GIPLC’s annual end of year party is overwhelmingly pleasant when one sees thousands of disadvantaged Nigerian children enjoying the moment and leave with gifts and presents provided by GIPLC.
I was with GIPLC in Jos during the Plateau State tribal crisis, and was very impressed with their level of preparedness to mobilize relief materials and manpower to troubled zones. It has been an honor to accord them every possible support so far.
On behalf of the government and people of South Sudan, I sincerely thank Nuhu Kwajafa and GIPLC for bringing much needed relief materials, drugs and food items to alleviate the harsh conditions in some refugee camps in our country, South Sudan, in 2014. I wish them the best in all their future humanitarian initiatives.
